RESULTS
Your Pathology and Radiology results are an important part providing you quality health care. It is essential that you take responsibilty of your own healthcare and call the clinic for the results of any tests and investigations.
Please phone the clinic after 9am for your results.
Your doctor will leave a brief message for the reception staff to pass on to you. If the doctor wishes to discuss the results with you, they will ask you to make an appointment. Note that reception staff can only pass on the message given by the doctor, if you wish to discuss any part of your results, even if they are normal, you will be asked to make an appointment.
Your doctor may also decide that your results indicate that you need an urgent review. In this case, your doctor will direct reception staff to call you to make an appointment as soon as possible. It is crucial that you keep your contact phone numbers up to date so that we can contact you in this situation.
RECALLS
The Kingston Family Clinic provides a Patient Recall Service as part of its preventative medicine strategy.
This service reminds patients to make appointments for important checkups such as pap smears, blood tests, immunisatons and other health reviews.
If you do not want to take part in this service please tell you doctor or reception staff.
